- BIO:- Hello there! Do you or anyone you know have chronic swelling in any body part? If you do, chances are you have not been told in a meaningful way why that is or how you can manage it. I did my Doctor of Physical Therapy in the US and once I returned to Canada I became certified in Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT). This is the gold standard approach to manage chronic swelling, particularly Lymphedema. I worked with this diagnosis exclusively for a number of years, everything from preventative treatment post lymph node removal to advanced stages of Lymphedema. I also love sharing my knowledge, teaching and facilitation at the University of Toronto. Outside of Physiotherapy, I enjoy trying new things – most recently rock climbing and karate! If you think you may benefit from a consult and/or treatment regarding chronic swelling, I would love to work with you.
