Mo. Ismail Abdelkader, a Registered Physiotherapist with over 13 years of experience working with different Musculoskeletal complex cases, Neurological conditions, and Sports Medicine.

Not only is Ismail an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, but he also is the co-President and the co-Founder of the OIEPB Alumni Association. Additionally, he sits on the OIEPB Advisory Council Committee. Ismail was granted two recognition awards from the University of Toronto for his teaching contributions in 2018 and 2019.

Ismail’s approach is strongly informed by evidence-based Active Therapy rather than more traditional passive modalities; pain management on its own is not rehab. He has always had a deep interest in utilizing multifocal techniques such as Soft Tissue Mobilization, Soft Tissue Release, Joint Mobilization, Trigger Point Relief, Active Therapy, Restorative Mobility Techniques, and Therapeutic Modalities to help people increase their wellness, quality of life, restore their mobility, and live their best life.

Outside of his academic and community private practices, Ismail likes to lead an active lifestyle via outdoor walks, functional training, martial arts, and habitual traveling.

Ekta Shah is an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant and Clinical Manager with a diverse background in both India and Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from India and has accumulated six years of professional experience working across both countries.

In Canada, Ekta enhanced her expertise by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She has been actively involved in multidisciplinary clinic settings, where she combines clinical practice with management responsibilities, including her role as MVA Manager.

Committed to professional growth, Ekta is currently focused on preparing her credentials to further advance her career in physiotherapy.

Beyond her clinical and managerial roles, Ekta has a creative side—she enjoys drawing and painting, which reflects her attention to detail and dedication to personal expression.

DrHumphrey Lansang earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines. With 3 years of experience in the field, he has held various roles across Canada, including Physiotherapist Assistant, Resident Physiotherapist, and is now a Registered Physiotherapist.

He has completed additional certifications, including Physiotherapy Practice within the Canadian Healthcare Context, Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Concussion and Brain Injury, and Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C. His clinical experience spans private clinics (MVA and EHC), multidisciplinary settings, in-home care, and virtual rehabilitation.

Currently, DrHumphrey is focused on preparing for rostering controlled acts and continues to attend advanced training and seminars to expand his knowledge and skills in the physiotherapy field.

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys playing basketball and staying active through regular exercise.

Sanafarheen Khan is a dedicated Registered Physiotherapist with a strong foundation in patient-centered care and rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in India and brings over 2 years of experience working across both India and Canada.

In Canada, her roles have included Physiotherapy Assistant, Resident Physiotherapist, and now, Registered Physiotherapist. She also holds an advanced diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, further strengthening her knowledge in the areas of exercise, mobility, and recovery.

Sanafarheen has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including multidisciplinary clinics and long-term care facilities. Her career goal is to continue growing professionally by gaining further certifications and specialized expertise in physiotherapy.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading and constantly expanding her knowledge base.

Manuel Agas is a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist with a solid educational and clinical background in physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center Inc. in the Philippines, where he also obtained his professional license.

With three years of physiotherapy experience in the Philippines and current work as a PTA in Canada, Manuel brings both an international perspective and hands-on skills to his practice. He further expanded his expertise by completing a certificate in Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College North Campus.

In Canada, Manuel has gained experience in diverse settings, including St. Luke Hospital, in-home care, and a specialized clinic focused on scoliosis treatment. He is currently preparing for the practical component of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination, aiming to practice as a fully licensed physiotherapist in Canada.

Outside the clinic, Manuel is passionate about sports. He enjoys weightlifting, listening to sports and science podcasts, and staying active through various athletic activities during his free time.

Muzammil Ansari is a Registered Physiotherapist with over 12 years of extensive experience across a variety of clinical settings, including private clinics, long-term care facilities, multidisciplinary hospitals, and community-based care.

He holds a Master’s degree specializing in Musculoskeletal and Sports Rehabilitation, equipping him with advanced skills in managing complex orthopedic and sports-related conditions.

Now practicing in Canada, Muzammil is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and helping individuals restore mobility, strength, and overall physical function.

Krupa Prajapati is an internationally educated Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India. She practiced as a Physiotherapist in India for one year before moving to Canada to further her education and career.

In Canada, Krupa completed a postgraduate diploma in Healthcare Management from Northern College, where she gained valuable insights into the Canadian healthcare system and professional ethics. For the past two years, she has been working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in both OHIP-funded clinics and multidisciplinary healthcare settings. She also provides in-home physiotherapy support, demonstrating her commitment to patient-centered care.

Krupa is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to become a registered Physiotherapist in Canada.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling and watching Sports.

Vishap G Jogiani brings over 13 years of experience in the physiotherapy field, with a strong foundation as a Registered Physiotherapist in India and over five years of professional experience in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from SBB College of Physiotherapy in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and has furthered his knowledge with a certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management in Toronto.

In Canada, Vishap has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant across various clinical settings, including long-term care facilities and multidisciplinary clinics such as Fieldstone Commons, Physiomed, and CPC. His dual role as a PTA and administrative support professional allows him to combine clinical expertise with organizational efficiency.

Currently, he is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to become a licensed physiotherapist in Canada. Outside of work, Vishap enjoys playing online games, exploring new places through travel, and experimenting with cooking.

Patel Preet is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with over four years of combined experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in Gujarat, India, where he worked as a physiotherapist for 1.5 years before moving to Canada. Since then, he has gained 2.5 years of hands-on experience as a PTA, providing quality care in various settings, including home care. He also holds a Home Care Support Workers Certificate in Canada, reflecting his commitment to patient-centered support.

Currently, Preet is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to further advance his career as a licensed physiotherapist in Canada. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and reading, which help him maintain a balanced and thoughtful approach to both his personal and professional life.

Amandeep Kaur is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a solid background in both clinical and academic settings. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Guru Nanak University in India and furthered her education in Canada with a diploma in Health Care Administration from Alpha College. She worked as a physiotherapist for one year in India before gaining two years of hands-on experience as a PTA in Canadian clinical settings.

Amandeep is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination and is also planning to pursue a diploma in Massage Therapy to expand her skills and patient care capabilities. Rabina Ranabhat is a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant with a rich background in international healthcare. She completed her Bachelor's in Physiotherapy in Mangalore, India, and has worked as a physiotherapist in India and Nepal before continuing her career as a PTA in Canada. With two years of experience across three countries, Rabina brings a diverse and adaptable approach to patient care.

In Canada, she has worked in various settings including neuro clinics, hospitals, long-term care homes, and in-home care. She also holds a diploma in Healthcare Administration Management, which complements her clinical expertise with strong organizational insight. Francis Patrick Morais is a highly experienced physiotherapy professional with 16 years of expertise in the field. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Neurology from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in India. Before moving to Canada, Francis worked extensively as a physiotherapist in India, where he built a strong foundation in neuro-rehabilitation and patient care.

In Canada, Francis has continued his journey in the healthcare field as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a multidisciplinary clinic. He has further enhanced his knowledge with a Postgraduate Diploma in Recreational Therapy and certification in Dementia Ability Methods. He also holds additional qualifications in Yoga and Hospital Management from India, reflecting his holistic approach to health and wellness.

For the past four years, Priyank has worked in Canadian clinics, including We Fix U Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Clinic, and Carewell Physiotherapy Centre. His experience spans various patient care settings, and he is known for his strong communication skills, which help him build positive relationships with clients and deliver personalized support.

Krisha Raval is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a diploma in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistance from St. Clair College in Ontario, Canada. Apurva Shah is a committed and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in both India and Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India and a Postgraduate Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Canada.

Margi Pandya is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with over 8 years of experience in the rehabilitation field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from M.S. University in India and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Georgian College in Barrie, Canada.

Her professional journey spans across India and Canada, where she has worked in various roles including Physiotherapist, PTA, OTA, and Rehabilitation Assistant. Margi has provided care in a wide range of settings such as community programs, transitional care, sports rehabilitation clinics, and retirement homes. Her additional certifications include CPR and First Aid, a Physiotherapy Bridging Course from the University of Alberta, and training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches.

Margi is currently obtaining her physiotherapy registration in Canada to further her impact in the field. Her energetic and compassionate approach to care is driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for every patient she works with.

Outside of her professional life, Margi is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys volleyball, badminton, swimming, and cricket. She also has a passion for dance, especially traditional Gujarati folk styles.

Tanusha Yeruva is a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong foundation in physiotherapy, backed by over three years of experience as a licensed physiotherapist in India. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India, where she worked in various settings, including hospitals, in-home care, and as a co-owner of a physiotherapy clinic.

Since moving to Canada in 2022, Tanusha has been working as a PTA, gaining valuable experience in long-term care centres, outpatient clinics, and providing in-home physiotherapy services. Her diverse background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care across multiple demographics and conditions.

Faeze Vakilifard is an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong clinical background as a licensed physiotherapist in Iran. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Tehran.

With over 15 years of hands-on experience working as a physiotherapist in Iran, Faeze has developed a deep understanding of patient-centered rehabilitation and functional recovery. Since relocating to Canada, she has continued her professional journey by working as a PTA in in-home care settings with CorePhysioCare, focusing on personalized treatment and mobility improvement.

Faeze is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to achieve full licensure in Canada. Her long-term goal is to resume practice as a registered physiotherapist.

Yiudmila Ricardo Martínez is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) with a strong background in health, fitness, and somatic therapies. She completed her PTA/OTA diploma at Anderson College in Canada, where she also earned several advanced certifications that support her holistic approach to rehabilitation and wellness.

Yiudmila brings over 7 years of experience in the health and fitness industry in Canada. Her diverse roles have included Personal Trainer Specialist (Level 4), Exercise Therapist, and Certified Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of training across styles such as Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Trauma-Oriented, and Soma Yoga. In addition, she is a Certified Stress Resilience Coach, Children’s Fitness Coach, and Thai Massage practitioner.

Her work emphasizes the connection between movement, the nervous system, and emotional well-being. She has contributed to in-home care, wellness studios, and multidisciplinary settings, supporting clients through physical recovery and stress integration.

Yiudmila is deeply passionate about mental health, grief integration, and the fascia system. A lifelong learner and animal lover, she finds joy in traveling and exploring somatic practices that enhance both physical and emotional healing.

Pramod Kapari is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) with a solid educational background and diverse work experience. He completed his secondary education up to Grade 12 in Nepal before earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) degrees in India. Over the course of three years, Pramod worked as a physiotherapist in India, gaining valuable hands-on experience in patient care.

Since moving to Canada, Pramod has further expanded his expertise by working for two years in a Home Support Worker (HSW) role at Paramed, specializing in in-home care settings. He is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE), aiming to advance his career as a registered physiotherapist in Canada.

Priteesha Patel holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Gujarat University, India. She began her career as a physiotherapist at Rudra Physiotherapy Clinic in Ahmedabad, where she gained valuable experience working with patients both in the clinic and through home visits.

After moving to Canada, Priteesha further enhanced her expertise by completing a postgraduate course in Therapeutic Recreation at Fleming College, Ontario. She has since worked extensively at BIM Health (Country Village Homes) and Achieva Health (Fairhaven Long Term Care), providing personalized one-on-one therapy, assisting with patient transfers and mobility training, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Currently, Priteesha is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to further her career as a registered physiotherapist in Canada.

Wael Mikhael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Cairo University, Egypt. He brings over 11 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in Egypt, followed by five years as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Canada.

In Canada, Wael has worked in CPC clinics as well as providing in-home care, gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical settings. He is currently preparing to take the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) next year to further advance his professional qualifications.

Outside of his clinical work, Wael is passionate about soccer, which reflects his energetic and team-oriented personality.

Aditya Musunury holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Neurology from NTR University of Health Sciences, India. With over 12 years of experience, he has worked extensively in neurological, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation, including leading a statewide Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program in Andhra Pradesh.

In Canada, Aditya completed a Diploma in Healthcare Management and has worked in multidisciplinary long-term care settings. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Rheumatology from the University of South Wales and is actively involved in research related to inflammatory arthritis.

Aditya is dedicated to patient-centered care, using advanced physiotherapy techniques to improve mobility and quality of life. Outside work, he enjoys playing table tennis and chess, staying updated on medical advances, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

1. Yash Prajapati — PTA

Yash Prajapati holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from India and has over 3 years of experience in the field. He began his career as a physiotherapist in India and is currently working as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Canada.

In addition to his clinical background, Yash has completed a Canadian Healthcare program at Mohawk College. He has experience working in in-home and long-term care (LTC) settings, delivering personalized support to clients across various healthcare needs. He is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to further his career in Canada.

Anas Naeem holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Pakistan and brings over 9 years of combined experience to the field—more than 5 years as a Physiotherapist internationally and 4 years as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Canada.

In Canada, Anas has further strengthened his expertise with additional education in Occupational Health and Safety Management. He has worked in diverse clinical environments, contributing to patient care with a focus on safety, rehabilitation, and personalized treatment.

Hassam Sarwar Rana earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Faisalabad in Pakistan. He has over 7 years of experience in the field, including 1 year as a Physiotherapist in Pakistan and nearly 6 years as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Canada.

In Canada, Hassam has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private clinics, long-term care homes, and in-home environments. He has completed certifications in CPR and First Aid and continues to bring a strong work ethic and patient-centered approach to every setting he works in.

Currently, Hassam is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to further advance his professional goals in the field of physiotherapy.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Iran University of Medical Sciences and has recently expanded his academic expertise by earning a Master of Science in Aging and Health from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.

Throughout his career, Mohammad has specialized in working with elderly and senior populations. Under the supervision of registered physiotherapists, he provides personalized and effective physiotherapy services aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and balance—enhancing clients’ independence and overall well-being.
