Mo. Ismail Abdelkader, a Registered Physiotherapist with over 13 years of experience working with different Musculoskeletal complex cases, Neurological conditions, and Sports Medicine.

Not only is Ismail an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, but he also is the co-President and the co-Founder of the OIEPB Alumni Association. Additionally, he sits on the OIEPB Advisory Council Committee. Ismail was granted two recognition awards from the University of Toronto for his teaching contributions in 2018 and 2019.

Ismail’s approach is strongly informed by evidence-based Active Therapy rather than more traditional passive modalities; pain management on its own is not rehab. He has always had a deep interest in utilizing multifocal techniques such as Soft Tissue Mobilization, Soft Tissue Release, Joint Mobilization, Trigger Point Relief, Active Therapy, Restorative Mobility Techniques, and Therapeutic Modalities to help people increase their wellness, quality of life, restore their mobility, and live their best life.

Outside of his academic and community private practices, Ismail likes to lead an active lifestyle via outdoor walks, functional training, martial arts, and habitual traveling.

Krupa Prajapati is an internationally educated Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India. She practiced as a Physiotherapist in India for one year before moving to Canada to further her education and career.

In Canada, Krupa completed a postgraduate diploma in Healthcare Management from Northern College, where she gained valuable insights into the Canadian healthcare system and professional ethics. For the past two years, she has been working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in both OHIP-funded clinics and multidisciplinary healthcare settings. She also provides in-home physiotherapy support, demonstrating her commitment to patient-centered care.

Krupa is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to become a registered Physiotherapist in Canada.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling and watching Sports.

Patel Preet is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with over four years of combined experience in the field. He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in Gujarat, India, where he worked as a physiotherapist for 1.5 years before moving to Canada. Since then, he has gained 2.5 years of hands-on experience as a PTA, providing quality care in various settings, including home care. He also holds a Home Care Support Workers Certificate in Canada, reflecting his commitment to patient-centered support.

Currently, Preet is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to further advance his career as a licensed physiotherapist in Canada. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking and reading, which help him maintain a balanced and thoughtful approach to both his personal and professional life.

Vishap G Jogiani brings over 13 years of experience in the physiotherapy field, with a strong foundation as a Registered Physiotherapist in India and over five years of professional experience in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from SBB College of Physiotherapy in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and has furthered his knowledge with a certification in Occupational Health and Safety Management in Toronto.

In Canada, Vishap has worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant across various clinical settings, including long-term care facilities and multidisciplinary clinics such as Fieldstone Commons, Physiomed, and CPC. His dual role as a PTA and administrative support professional allows him to combine clinical expertise with organizational efficiency.

Currently, he is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to become a licensed physiotherapist in Canada. Outside of work, Vishap enjoys playing online games, exploring new places through travel, and experimenting with cooking.

Amandeep Kaur is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a solid background in both clinical and academic settings. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Guru Nanak University in India and furthered her education in Canada with a diploma in Health Care Administration from Alpha College. She worked as a physiotherapist for one year in India before gaining two years of hands-on experience as a PTA in Canadian clinical settings.

Amandeep is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination and is also planning to pursue a diploma in Massage Therapy to expand her skills and patient care capabilities. Outside of her professional goals, she enjoys engaging in hobbies that reflect her caring and creative personality.

Rabina Ranabhat is a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant with a rich background in international healthcare. She completed her Bachelor's in Physiotherapy in Mangalore, India, and has worked as a physiotherapist in India and Nepal before continuing her career as a PTA in Canada. With two years of experience across three countries, Rabina brings a diverse and adaptable approach to patient care.

In Canada, she has worked in various settings including neuro clinics, hospitals, long-term care homes, and in-home care. She also holds a diploma in Healthcare Administration Management, which complements her clinical expertise with strong organizational insight. Currently, Rabina is preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to become a licensed physiotherapist in Canada.

Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies and traveling—activities that help her stay inspired and connected to different cultures and perspectives.

Francis Patrick Morais is a highly experienced physiotherapy professional with 16 years of expertise in the field. He holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in Neurology from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in India. Before moving to Canada, Francis worked extensively as a physiotherapist in India, where he built a strong foundation in neuro-rehabilitation and patient care.

In Canada, Francis has continued his journey in the healthcare field as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a multidisciplinary clinic. He has further enhanced his knowledge with a Postgraduate Diploma in Recreational Therapy and certification in Dementia Ability Methods. He also holds additional qualifications in Yoga and Hospital Management from India, reflecting his holistic approach to health and wellness.

Currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination, Francis is focused on becoming a licensed physiotherapist in Canada. Outside of his professional goals, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking—activities that fuel his energy and creativity in both life and work.

Priyank is an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong foundation in physiotherapy and over six years of clinical experience. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from India, where he began his career as a physiotherapist for two years before transitioning to a PTA role in Canada.

For the past four years, Priyank has worked in Canadian clinics, including We Fix U Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Clinic, and Carewell Physiotherapy Centre. His experience spans various patient care settings, and he is known for his strong communication skills, which help him build positive relationships with clients and deliver personalized support.

Priyank’s current goal is to grow his in-home visit services and transition into a full-time PTA role. His passion for helping others, combined with his clinical expertise and people skills, makes him a valuable part of any healthcare team.

Manuel Agas is a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist with a solid educational and clinical background in physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center Inc. in the Philippines, where he also obtained his professional license.

With three years of physiotherapy experience in the Philippines and current work as a PTA in Canada, Manuel brings both an international perspective and hands-on skills to his practice. He further expanded his expertise by completing a certificate in Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College North Campus.

In Canada, Manuel has gained experience in diverse settings, including St. Luke Hospital, in-home care, and a specialized clinic focused on scoliosis treatment. He is currently preparing for the practical component of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination, aiming to practice as a fully licensed physiotherapist in Canada.

Outside the clinic, Manuel is passionate about sports. He enjoys weightlifting, listening to sports and science podcasts, and staying active through various athletic activities during his free time.

Krisha Raval is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a diploma in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistance from St. Clair College in Ontario, Canada. With three years of experience, Krisha has worked extensively across various settings, including home care, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities.

Her clinical experience covers a broad range of patient populations, from sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation in outpatient clinics to elderly patients with chronic disease management in community physiotherapy and home care. In long-term care, she has focused on seniors’ mobility issues, stroke recovery, and fall prevention.

Krisha is currently focused on expanding her hands-on experience across orthopedic and neurological patients while confidently applying treatment plans under the supervision of physiotherapists. Beyond her professional life, she is strongly interested in mindfulness and mental health, regularly practicing meditation and journaling.

Apurva Shah is a committed and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in both India and Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India and a Postgraduate Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Canada.

With over three years of experience, Apurva has worked in diverse clinical environments including long-term care homes, outpatient clinics, and in-home care. His approach emphasizes patient-centered care, rehabilitation, and wellness support.

Currently, Apurva is preparing to become a registered physiotherapist in Canada, aiming to expand his scope of practice and contribute more fully to patient recovery and functional independence.

Outside of work, Apurva enjoys staying active and engaged through personal interests that reflect his holistic approach to health and wellness.

Margi Pandya is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with over 8 years of experience in the rehabilitation field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from M.S. University in India and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Georgian College in Barrie, Canada.

Her professional journey spans across India and Canada, where she has worked in various roles including Physiotherapist, PTA, OTA, and Rehabilitation Assistant. Margi has provided care in a wide range of settings such as community programs, transitional care, sports rehabilitation clinics, and retirement homes. Her additional certifications include CPR and First Aid, a Physiotherapy Bridging Course from the University of Alberta, and training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches.

Margi is currently obtaining her physiotherapy registration in Canada to further her impact in the field. Her energetic and compassionate approach to care is driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for every patient she works with.

Outside of her professional life, Margi is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys volleyball, badminton, swimming, and cricket. She also has a passion for dance, especially traditional Gujarati folk styles.

Tanusha Yeruva is a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong foundation in physiotherapy, backed by over three years of experience as a licensed physiotherapist in India. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in India, where she worked in various settings, including hospitals, in-home care, and as a co-owner of a physiotherapy clinic.

Since moving to Canada in 2022, Tanusha has been working as a PTA, gaining valuable experience in long-term care centres, outpatient clinics, and providing in-home physiotherapy services. Her diverse background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care across multiple demographics and conditions.

While currently focused on gaining further hands-on experience and delivering exceptional care, Tanusha plans to pursue the Physiotherapy Competency Examination in 2026 to advance her professional career in Canada.

In her free time, Tanusha enjoys reading mystery and crime thrillers, gardening, and playing badminton, which reflect her curious, energetic, and nurturing personality.

Faeze Vakilifard is an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant with a strong clinical background as a licensed physiotherapist in Iran. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Tehran.

With over 15 years of hands-on experience working as a physiotherapist in Iran, Faeze has developed a deep understanding of patient-centered rehabilitation and functional recovery. Since relocating to Canada, she has continued her professional journey by working as a PTA in in-home care settings with CorePhysioCare, focusing on personalized treatment and mobility improvement.

Faeze is currently preparing for the Physiotherapy Competency Examination to achieve full licensure in Canada. Her long-term goal is to resume practice as a registered physiotherapist.

Outside of work, Faeze enjoys exercising and staying active, which reflects her dedication to health and wellness both professionally and personally.

Yiudmila Ricardo Martínez is a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) with a strong background in health, fitness, and somatic therapies. She completed her PTA/OTA diploma at Anderson College in Canada, where she also earned several advanced certifications that support her holistic approach to rehabilitation and wellness.

Yiudmila brings over 7 years of experience in the health and fitness industry in Canada. Her diverse roles have included Personal Trainer Specialist (Level 4), Exercise Therapist, and Certified Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of training across styles such as Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Trauma-Oriented, and Soma Yoga. In addition, she is a Certified Stress Resilience Coach, Children’s Fitness Coach, and Thai Massage practitioner.

Her work emphasizes the connection between movement, the nervous system, and emotional well-being. She has contributed to in-home care, wellness studios, and multidisciplinary settings, supporting clients through physical recovery and stress integration.

Yiudmila is deeply passionate about mental health, grief integration, and the fascia system. A lifelong learner and animal lover, she finds joy in traveling and exploring somatic practices that enhance both physical and emotional healing.
